For today’s Give Back Friday, we got our shopping bags and headed to our local supermarket to buy presents, clothes and toys for the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas appeal.
Earlier in the week, the team at Cash for Kids put a call out on social media as they were struggling for donations. When we heard this everyone at ICG pulled together and we bought £400’s worth of toys and clothes to donate.
Thousands of children live in poverty and many are at risk of waking up without presents to open on Christmas Day - Christmas is a luxury their families can't afford.
But Mission Christmas is here to make a difference.
The volunteers at the Cash for Kids drop off were delighted to receive the donations and showed the team around the facilities. Unfortunately they are still in need of donations and there’s still time to donate if you can.
If you are based in Lancashire, the drop off at Lancashire HQ address: Fulwood Storage, 6 Fulwood Park, Caxton Rd, Fulwood, Preston PR2 9NZ. They are taking donations until Monday 18th December.
The team is on site Friday, Saturday and Monday 9:30am-4:00pm.
