Jangro is the UK's largest network of independent janitorial supply companies and has been celebrating its 35th anniversary throughout 2015. Two years earlier they approached ICG to update their branding to reflect their growing prominence in the marketplace and since then we've warmly welcomed the Jangronauts and the Jangro Genius...
With over 4,000 products, Jangro required a new corporate identity and packaging system that could be consistently deployed across the range as well as all communication and marketing collateral.
Later, they turned to us to find out how they could generate more engagement with schools to meet their cleaning supplies needs.
And alongside all this, Jangro wanted to be seen in the trade media to raise its profile in the industry and also speak directly with customers through social media.
A new, engaging visual style was integrated into its catalogues and website while a user friendly labelling system was developed to bring clarity to Jangro's product range.
To target schools, ICG created the Jangronauts - four characters promoting hygiene to primary school age children. A bespoke microsite, catchy song and video, teachers' materials and fun activity sheets brought the characters to life.
To create talkability on social media, the Jangro Genius was born with his regular blog offering cleaning advice and expertise, drawing on content from Jangro's innovative Learning Management System.
Since the first rebranding project, ICG's relationship with Jangro has gone from strength to strength. The rebrand has been comprehensively rolled out, improving communication to a wide variety of business sectors as well as the contract cleaning sector.
Both the Jangronauts and the Jangro Genius have provided exciting ways to engage with different target audiences whilst growing the number followers on social media.
A quarterly newsletter called Clean Sheet, designed and written by ICG, was launched and is distributed through the trade press to highlight more than three decades of cleaning excellence.
