ICG is providing much needed food supplies to support the Christ Church Night Shelter, in Lancaster this Christmas.
As part of our ‘giving back’ instead of gifting, our team have been busy collecting canned goods and long-life products in a bid to ensure that no-one goes hungry this year.
Christ Church in Lancaster operates a winter night shelter for homeless men and women who are sleeping rough in the city and the surrounding areas.
It’s the only non-referral shelter in the whole of the North West which provides hot drinks, snacks and a warm, safe place to sleep. The operation of the centre relies heavily on donations and volunteers who give their time to ensure that homeless people have access to warmth and shelter throughout the coldest winter months.
Christ Church has been serving the city’s homeless since 1992 and operates from the beginning of November through to Easter.
