Rebranding core ranges

Vernacare is a global manufacturer of sustainable infection prevention solutions in healthcare environments.

ICG was commissioned to oversee a full rebrand of its popular Comfi™ range of tubular bandages and garments.

Our research provided an understanding of the product and buyer profile, as well as insights into how information on packaging is used in real-world scenarios.

We ensured key information was clearly visible and easy to digest, with a colour coding system. Photography was used for the core range, whilst an illustrative approach was introduced for the kids' range.

The success has led to more product brand updates including the BERT® Endoscopic Tissue Retrieval Bags, which are used by laparoscopic surgeons.

Partnering on promotion

The new brand was supported with a launch campaign, showcasing the benefits of the bandages, and highlighting the breadth of the range. The campaign ran as full page ads in key national trade publications, as well as digital carousel adverts.

We also developed a suite of brochures, leaflets and marketing materials for Vernacare's range of hygiene and surgical solutions including brochures for patient hygiene, personal hygiene and skin care.

ICG’s knowledge and understanding of the Vernacare brand makes us the trusted partner to produce promotional materials.

Vernacare gives back

During the pandemic, we supported Vernacare to ‘give back’ to its local communities after it produced a limited number of face coverings using the same, innovative fabric it uses to make its tubular bandages.

Our team designed the packaging for the CoverMe face covering, as well as an accompanying leaflet with information about how and where to wear it, care instructions and information about the benefits.

ICG’s PR department got to work circulating the story to the consumer and business media with coverage appearing in the local and regional media.
