An integrated approach to 'Intelligent Safety'

Speedy's award-winning 'Safety from the Ground Up' programme set new standards in on-site safety when it launched in 2005, so, 10 years on, the company worked with ICG to roll out an enhanced and updated integrated marketing campaign.

The new programme, 'Intelligent Safety' aims to educate Speedy customers on effective solutions to health and safety issues in the construction industry, with greater emphasis on the appropriate usage of key products.

For the first phase, dust control, which launched in May 2015, ICG's design team created a 32-page brochure, a pocket guide, posters, banner ups for events and an A-Frame sign, which is positioned on the back of a Speedy truck and being driven around East London to promote Speedy's brand new 'Dust Centre of Excellence.'

A microsite, intelligentsafety.speedyservices.com, was created by ICG's digital team and features the four main safety topics - working at height, manual handling, hand arm vibration and dust control.

ICG's PR team secured coverage in several trade titles, including an interview with Executive Hire News, with Speedy contributing to its annual 'Dust Management Market Report.' Social media activity was also scheduled to coincide with Health & Safety Week 2015.

The second phase of the campaign, Working at Height, is being rolled out now and ICG is continuing to help market the fully integrated campaign.
